Terms of use

These terms cover your use of this website and of the client portal at app.maughanco.com, run by Maughan Consulting, LLC, a Utah limited liability company (“we”, “us”). The work we do for a client, and the fees for it, are governed by our written agreement with that client. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement wins.

The website

The website describes our services. Prices shown are starting points; every project is quoted in writing before any work begins, and only a signed quote or agreement is binding.

Portal accounts

• Portal access is for people our clients have authorized. Your client (usually your employer) decides who has access and can ask us to remove it at any time.
• Keep your sign-in to yourself, and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it.
• Don't try to access information that isn't your company's, probe or disrupt the service, or use it to break the law. We may suspend access that puts the service or other clients at risk, and will tell your company why.

Your content

Requests, feedback and other material you send through the portal stay yours and your company's. You let us use them to provide and improve the services we deliver to your company.

Our materials

The website, the portal and our tools belong to us, except where a client agreement transfers ownership of work built for that client.

Availability

We aim to keep the portal available and accurate, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those in your company's agreement with us. Figures in the portal are shown to help you follow the work; invoices and the client agreement are the record for billing.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website or portal. Liability for our services to a client is set by that client's agreement.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
